Ronaldo Guilherme Benvenga, born in Montevideo, Uruguai, in 1934 is a Dentist, gratuated in 1958 at the Universidade de São Paulo, School of Dentistry. For five years he has worked as Assistant-Professor at the Dental Materials Department of the same University.

The interest for music in general and, particularly, for North-American one and, in special, for the Big Bands Era - composed for Broadway Music Shows as well as for the movies - , has been arose right at the youth listening on the broadcasting and going to movies.

He signed, for eight years, the column named "Big Bands & Company" on the Folha do A.B.C. and, for one year, the column named "Quinta Avenida" (Fifth Avenue) on Diário do Grande ABC - both of them, local newspapers of Santo André, SP - Br -, together with the friend Reynaldo Mendes de Souza.

Also, between October, 1995 and March, 2003, they signed the production and presentation of the broadcasting "Quinta Avenida", on the air, first on Rádio Mundial, 650 AM and, after, on Rádio Trianon, 740 AM, both in São Paulo, SP .
